El Ramo (the bouquet)

I worked on a page for Practical Scrappers' Cameos and Silhouettes feature yesterday, but, since the page is based on Jannike's sketch for this month (a beautiful sketch, have you seen it yet?), we decided to leave it for the sketch reveal at the end of the month. I had to work on a page to put next to it in the album, however, so I created another page using similar elements. This page shows the bouquet toss, and it is based on Let's Scrap's sketch for challenge NSD2011#12. I think it's a fabulous sketch, which could be interpreted in many different ways, so I am looking forward to seeing what other people will post in the gallery. If you want to play along, you have until May 31st to post your take on it.

I'm not very happy about that HAPPILY EVER AFTER sticker in the bottom left corner; the problem is I tried to place a rub-on that came with the album and said "the bouquet toss", but they are very bad quality rub-ons and it ended up looking smudged, which would be OK in other pages, but not this one, so I had to cover it somehow!

I re-printed the picture and fussy cut the bouquet to add on top of the picture for more dimension, I like the effect on the photo, it makes the bouquet pop from it.

If you want to see the page that went next to this one in the album, you'll have to come back on May 30 for the sketch feature reveal. Want a sneak peek, though? Here it is:

I love this page! I am so glad I popped over from Let's Scrap website to see the angled shots of this layout. A lot is missed when viewing it "flat." Your sister will be so pleased! Me alegro saber que significa "ramo"! jaja
