Scrapbooking break

My unwanted scrapbooking break is getting closer, I have packed my scrapbooking stuff and, though I've left some kits, I have no free surfaces to work on (I might work on the floor if I get withdrawal symptoms, though!!!). I'd like to share with you the alst layout I made for Practical Scrappers as a DT, for the embossing week challenge. I used pre-embossed core-dinations cardstock as the background.

I LOVE this layout, it is very simple and has lots of white space, but it has those nice details at the same time; I bought these butterfly post-its at the museum and did not know how I was going to use them at the time, I love how it turned out! Here are some close-ups:

Thanks, Denise!!!!!! Hopefully, I will learn how to take those pictures I've always wanted to take from my Big Picture workshop starting soon and will have plenty of practice during the holiday and the moving process (new places always want to make you take a million pictures - I haven't managed to scrap my first few months in Libya even after 6 years!). And I know that once we settle, I will have been waiting to scrap for sooooooooooo long that I will make enough layouts to make up for any lost time, :).
